Our Story

During the early 90’s a couple named Maria Fe Zabarte Bautista and Maximo Duran Bautista Jr. Started investing on lots to buy and building houses and selling it to the market, until they finally decided to keep 1 lot for their children and future grandchildren to stay or consider as their rest house here in Tagaytay. While building the house, passers by will stop over and ask about Rooms for rent? Since the couple’s children named Jim, Jerd, Joy and Jc were teenagers that time, they wouldn’t want to go with them every weekends. This gave them an idea to have their childrens rooms rented for lodging for travellers. 

During this time, they have it rented for 300 / 3 hours. Then Restaurant started to be included when Mommy Fe was cooking her Organic Bulalo and while in the kitchen one of the renters asked if they can buy a bowl of the Bulalo, This started the well known, ‘’Organic Bulalo’’ of Viewpoint Inn and Restaurant. 

Year 2011, when the couple’s only daughter Jeraldine ‘’JOY’’ Zabarte Bautista-Ong a nurse was asked to go back home from California, Since both Mom and Dad were having health issue. Then they transferred ownership from the mom to daughter Joy.

Today Viewpoint Inn and Restaurant is developing in a gradual natural fashion manner and has incremental experiences a strong organic growth.

Over the past 34 years, It underwent major renovations and expansion bringing up the number of it’s original 4 Cabins to 16, and from a non Resto place to five Al Fresco Dine-In areas and will continue to put up more facilities like swimming pool, Gym and Play area while enjoying your stay with us, having meals with friends and family, facing the view of Taal Volcano
